Seafood Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a bowl, toss the shrimp with 0.5 tsp of salt, cumin, paprika, and black pepper. Set aside to marinate for about 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Cod

Season the cod fillet with the remaining salt, cumin, paprika, and black pepper. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook the cod for about 4-5 minutes per side or until cooked through. Flake the fish into bite-sized pieces.

  3. 3

    Cook the Shrimp

In the same pan, add a little oil if needed and cook the marinated shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.

Guacamole Preparation

  1. 4

    Make the Guacamole

In a bowl, mash the avocado with a fork. Add lime juice, salt, diced tomato, chopped cilantro, and minced garlic. Mix until well combined and set aside.

Taco Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Tacos

Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side. Place some flaked cod and cooked shrimp on each tortilla. Top with a generous spoonful of guacamole and drizzle with Valentina hot sauce.
