Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meatball Mixture

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Meatballs

Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

  3. 3

    Brown the Meatballs

In a large skillet over medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches and brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Marinara Sauce

In the same skillet, add your favorite marinara sauce and bring to a simmer. Gently add the browned meatballs to the sauce.

  5. 5

    Simmer

Cover and let the meatballs simmer in the sauce for about 15-20 minutes, until cooked through.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the meatballs hot, garnished with additional parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired.
