Brownie Ingredients

Method

Brownie Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

  2. 2

    Melt Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.

  3. 3

    Add Eggs and Vanilla

Allow the melted butter mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  4. 4

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually stir this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  5. 5

    Bake the Brownies

Spread the brownie batter evenly in the prepared baking pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  6. 6

    Cool and Cut

Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
