Brine the Turkey
In a large container, mix together water, salt, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar until dissolved. Submerge the turkey in the brine, cover, and refrigerate for 12 to 24 hours.

Preheat the Smoker
Prepare your smoker according to the manufacturer's instructions and preheat it to 225°F (107°C).

Remove the turkey from brine, rinse thoroughly with cold water, and pat dry with paper towels. Rub the turkey with olive oil and season it with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and additional salt if desired.

Place the prepared turkey in the smoker. Smoke for about 30 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
