Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your grill or smoker to a temperature of 225°F (107°C). Mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and brown sugar in a bowl. Rub this mixture generously over the pork ribs.

  2. 2

    Cook the Ribs

Place the ribs on the grill or in the smoker, bone side down. Cook for about 4 to 5 hours, or until the ribs are tender and the meat pulls back from the bones.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Burnt Ends

While the ribs are cooking, prepare the burnt ends. Cut brisket into 1-inch cubes and season with salt, pepper, and a little BBQ sauce. Place them in a separate pan on the grill or smoker.

  4. 4

    Finish Cooking the Burnt Ends

Cook the burnt ends for about 2 to 3 hours, basting occasionally with BBQ sauce until they are caramelized and tender.

  5. 5

    Serve

Once the ribs and burnt ends are done, remove them from the grill. Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
