Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs if necessary.
- 2
Season the Ribs
In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Rub this mixture evenly over the ribs on both sides.
- 3
Cook the Ribs
Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with more foil to keep them moist. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.
- 4
Make the Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and hot sauce. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- 5
Glaze the Ribs
Remove the ribs from the oven and increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F). Brush the ribs generously with the sauce and return them to the oven uncovered. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, basting with the sauce halfway through.
- 6
Serve
Once the ribs are caramelized and sticky, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with extra sauce on the side.
