Rib Dinner Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this mixture all over the pork ribs.

  2. 2

    Bake the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat is tender.

  3. 3

    Add BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the foil. Brush the BBQ sauce generously over the ribs. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 15-20 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Side Dish

While the ribs are baking, wash and cut the potatoes. Boil them in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and serve as desired.

  5. 5

    Toast the Texas Toast

Spread butter on both sides of each slice of Texas toast. Heat a skillet over medium heat and toast the bread until golden brown on both sides.

  6. 6

    Serve

Slice the ribs and serve them alongside the boiled potatoes and toasted Texas toast.
