Kid-sized Chicken Dinner
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the chicken breast into smaller pieces suitable for kids. In a bowl, beat the egg. In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
- 2
Coat the Chicken
Dip each piece of chicken into the egg, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet.
- 3
Bake the Chicken
Drizzle olive oil over the chicken pieces. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
- 4
Make the Fries
While the chicken is baking, wash and cut the large potato into thin strips for fries. Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then spread on another baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway.
- 5
Serve
Once both the chicken and fries are done, serve the chicken pieces with the fries on the side. Add a small bowl of ketchup for dipping and include a small drink of your choice.
