Ribs and Marinade
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place the ribs on a large baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
- 2
Make the Rub
In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to combine.
- 3
Season the Ribs
Rub the spice mixture generously over both sides of the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.
- 4
Bake the Ribs
Cover the baking sheet with another piece of aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the ribs are tender.
- 5
Add BBQ Sauce
Remove the ribs from the oven, discard the top layer of aluminum foil, and brush BBQ sauce over the ribs. Return to the oven uncovered and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
- 6
Serve
Once the ribs are caramelized and the sauce is bubbly, remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
