Classic Cocktails
- 1
Prepare the Mint
In a sturdy glass, add the fresh mint leaves. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press the mint leaves to release their essential oils. Be careful not to shred the leaves too much.
- 2
Add Lime Juice and Simple Syrup
Pour in the fresh lime juice and simple syrup over the muddled mint in the glass. This will enhance the mint flavor and add sweetness to the cocktail.
- 3
Add White Rum
Pour in the white rum, ensuring it mixes well with the mint, lime juice, and simple syrup.
- 4
Add Ice
Fill the glass with ice to your liking, allowing it to chill the cocktail.
- 5
Top with Topo Chico
Carefully pour the Topo Chico over the ice, filling the glass to the top. This will add a refreshing fizz to the mojito.
- 6
Garnish and Serve
Garnish your mojito with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint for a beautiful presentation. Serve immediately with a straw.
