Method

Dip Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Base

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth and well-blended.

  2. 2

    Add Crab and Flavorings

Gently fold in the fresh crab meat, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly combined.

  3. 3

    Chill the Dip

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Bread Bowl Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Bread Bowl

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the top off the sourdough bread loaf and hollow out the inside, creating a bowl. Reserve the bread pieces for serving.

  2. 5

    Bake the Bread Bowl

Place the hollowed sourdough bread on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until lightly toasted.

Grilled Garlic Breadsticks Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in the minced garlic and chopped parsley.

  2. 7

    Garlic Breadsticks

Slice the baguette into sticks, brush them with the garlic butter mixture, and grill on medium heat for about 3-5 minutes on each side or until golden and crispy.

Veggies Preparation

  1. 8

    Prepare the Veggies

Wash and cut the carrots, celery, and bell peppers into sticks or strips for easy dipping.
