Pork Chop

Method

Pork Chop Preparation

  1. 1

    Sear the Pork Chop

Season the pork chop with salt and black pepper on both sides. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chop and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and let rest.

  2. 2

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add white wine and scrape the bottom to deglaze. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes until reduced by half. Stir in butter and vinegar peppers, cooking for another 2-3 minutes. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

Parmigiano Risotto Preparation

  1. 3

    Cook the Risotto

In a saucepan, bring chicken broth to a simmer. In another pan, melt butter and sauté onion and garlic until translucent. Add Arborio rice and toast for 1-2 minutes. Slowly add the warm chicken broth, one ladle at a time, stirring frequently, until absorbed. Continue this process until the rice is al dente and creamy.

  2. 4

    Finish the Risotto

Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, season with salt and black pepper, and mix well. Remove from heat.
