Method

Steak Preparation

1

Season the Steak

Generously season the New York Strip Steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.

2

Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to high heat. Brush the steak with olive oil and grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Broccoli Rabe Preparation

3

Prepare the Broccoli Rabe

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant.

4

Cook the Broccoli Rabe

Add the broccoli rabe, season with salt, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until it is tender but still bright green.

Risotto Preparation

5

Sauté the Onion and Garlic

In a separate pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.

6

Cook the Risotto

Add the Arborio rice, stirring for 1-2 minutes. Pour in the white wine and cook until absorbed. Gradually add chicken broth, one ladle at a time, stirring frequently, until the rice is creamy and al dente.

7

Finish the Risotto

Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat and let sit for a couple of minutes.
