  1. 1

    Prepare glass

Fill a large wine glass generously with ice. Using large cubes or a single large sphere keeps the drink colder longer and prevents rapid dilution.

  2. 2

    Add Aperol

Measure and pour 3 tablespoons (approx. 1.5 fl oz) of Aperol over the ice, allowing it to settle around the cubes.

  3. 3

    Add Prosecco

Slowly pour 3 oz of chilled Prosecco into the glass. Pour gently down the side of the glass to help layers remain slightly distinct and to preserve carbonation.

  4. 4

    Top with soda

Add 1 oz of chilled soda water. Pour gently to combine without flattening the bubbles.

  5. 5

    Stir gently

Use a bar spoon to stir once or twice with a gentle upward motion to combine Aperol, Prosecco, and soda while keeping effervescence.

  6. 6

    Garnish and serve

Garnish with a fresh orange wheel on the rim or floated in the drink. Serve immediately while chilled and effervescent.
