Filling and Crust
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the crust
In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are fully coated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust.
- 2
Make the filling
In a large bowl, beat together the peanut butter, softened cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Fold in the whipped topping until fully combined.
- 3
Assemble the pie
Pour the peanut butter filling into the prepared crust, spreading it evenly. Smooth the top with a spatula.
- 4
Chill the pie
Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or until set. This allows the flavors to meld and the pie to firm up.
- 5
Serve
Slice the pie into wedges and serve chilled. Optionally, garnish with additional whipped topping or chocolate shavings.
