Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, then form into 4 equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and place a slice of pepper jack cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the meat is cooked to your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Burgers

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or skillet. Place each patty on the bottom half of a bun, top with fried jalapeños and a generous drizzle of jalapeño sauce. Place the top bun on and serve.
