Brunch Burger Ingredients

Method

Brunch Burger Directions

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Applewood-smoked bacon until crispy. Once cooked, transfer to a paper towel to drain excess grease.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into four equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each.

  3. 3

    Cook the Burgers

In the same skillet, add olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the desired doneness is achieved.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

  5. 5

    Fry the Eggs

In another small skillet, heat a bit of oil over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook until the whites are set, but the yolks are still runny (about 3-4 minutes for over-medium).

  6. 6

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each burger bun, layer lettuce, the cooked beef patty with melted cheese, crispy bacon, a slice of tomato, and finally, the fried egg. Top with the other half of the bun.
