1. Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once heated, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add Tomatoes and Spices
Stir in the canned crushed tomatoes, crushed red pepper flakes, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
4. Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce, tossing to combine and coat the pasta evenly.
5. Add Cheese
Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella cheese until melted and well combined.
6. Serve
