Prepare the Calamari
Rinse the calamari rings under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

Make the Coating
In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Mix well.

Coat the Calamari
Dredge the calamari rings in the flour mixture, ensuring they are fully coated. Shake off any excess flour.

Heat the Oil
In a deep pot or fryer, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Calamari
Carefully add the coated calamari to the hot oil in batches. Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Prepare the Honey Horseradish Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together honey and prepared horseradish until well combined.

Serve
Serve the fried calamari hot with honey horseradish sauce and marinara sauce on the side.
