Cocktail Preparation

Prepare the Glass
Take a rocks glass and rim it with salt by running a lime wedge around the edge and dipping it in salt. Set aside.

Mix Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine the mezcal, fresh lime juice, agave syrup, and orange liqueur. Add ice and shake well for about 15 seconds.

Pour and Garnish
Strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim.

Prepare the Guacamole
If not using store-bought, mash ripe avocados in a bowl with lime juice, salt, and diced tomatoes. Stir until combined.

Assemble the Snack
In a serving bowl, arrange tortilla chips. Serve with guacamole and pico de gallo on the side. Sprinkle cotija cheese on top and garnish with fresh cilantro and lime wedges.
