Method
Preparation
Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.
Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add 2 green tea bags. Let it steep for about 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you want the tea.
Add Mint Leaves
After steeping, remove the tea bags and add 1 cup of fresh mint leaves to the hot tea. Allow it to steep for another 5 minutes.
Sweeten (Optional)
If desired, stir in 2 tablespoons of honey to sweeten the tea. Adjust according to your taste.
Serve
Pour the mint tea into cups and add a slice of lemon if you prefer. Enjoy your refreshing mint tea hot or let it cool and serve over ice.
