Method
Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Lamb Chops
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade. Rub this mixture all over the lamb chops, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover the chops and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
Grilling
- 2
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.
- 3
Grill the Lamb Chops
Remove the lamb chops from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the chops on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer to ensure they are cooked to an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare.
- 4
Rest the Lamb Chops
Once cooked, remove the lamb chops from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute within the meat.
