Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Start by cleaning the shrimp, ensuring they are peeled and deveined. Mince the garlic cloves and chop the fresh parsley.

  2. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers. This should take about 2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant but not browned. Stir frequently to prevent burning.

  4. 4

    Cook the Shrimp

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and red chili flakes. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

  5. 5

    Add Fresh Parsley

Once the shrimp are cooked, remove the skillet from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.

  6. 6

    Serve

Transfer the gambas al ajillo to a serving dish and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
