Directions

1

Prepare butter for dipping

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic, a pinch of salt and pepper, and the juice of half a lemon. Keep warm on low heat.

2

Steam the crab legs

Fill a large pot with about 1 inch of water. Place a steamer basket inside and bring to a simmer. Add the crab legs, cover, and steam for 5–7 minutes until heated through.

3

Serve with lemon and butter

Transfer crab legs to a platter. Slice remaining lemon into wedges. Pour warm garlic butter into a small bowl for dipping and provide extra lemon wedges on the side.

4

Optional, for extra flavor

If desired, finish by briefly broiling the crab legs on a sheet pan for 1–2 minutes to enhance color, watching closely to avoid burning.
