Preparation

  1. 1

    Caramelize the Onions

In a skillet over medium heat, add sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are soft and golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

In the same skillet or another, cook the brisket/chuck patty to your desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium. Add the Swiss cheese on top during the last minute to melt.

  3. 3

    Fry the Egg

In a separate pan, fry the egg sunny-side up or to your preference.

  4. 4

    Toast the Bread

Toast the Texas toast slices until golden on both sides.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Cook breakfast potatoes as per package instructions or your preferred method until golden and crispy.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Brunch Melt

Spread remoulade on one slice of Texas toast. Place the cooked patty with melted Swiss cheese on top, followed by the caramelized onions, a slice of cheddar, the fried egg, and Wickles pickles. Top with the second slice of toast.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve the Brunch Melt with a side of breakfast potatoes.
