Pork BBQ Sandwich Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

In a large bowl, mix together the apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the pork shoulder. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Place the marinated pork shoulder in a roasting pan and cover it tightly with foil. Roast in the oven for about 4-5 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily shreds with a fork.

  3. 3

    Make the Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and salt. Mix well and refrigerate until ready to use.

  4. 4

    Shred the Pork

Once the pork is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes. Shred the pork using two forks.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sandwich

Toast the brioche buns lightly. Place a generous amount of pulled pork on the bottom half of each bun, top with coleslaw, and cover with the top half of the bun.
