Cocktail Preparation

Prepare Basil Syrup
In a saucepan, combine equal parts water and sugar with fresh basil leaves. Bring to a simmer until the sugar dissolves completely, then let it cool and strain out the basil.

Make Honey Simple Syrup
Combine equal parts honey and warm water, stirring until fully mixed. Let it cool.

Mix the Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker, add Blue Shark Vodka, fresh lime juice, honeydew puree, basil syrup, and honey simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of honeydew melon and a basil leaf.
