Method

Cocktail

1

Prepare shaker

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice (about 1 cup).

2

Combine spirits and juices

Add 1.5 oz vodka, 1 oz coconut rum, 2 oz mango puree, 2 oz orange juice, 2 oz pineapple juice, and 0.5 oz fresh lime juice to the shaker.

3

Shake

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is very cold and the mixture is well combined.

4

Prep glass and strain

Fill a highball or Collins glass with fresh ice. Double-strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass to remove any ice shards or fruit fibers.

5

Add grenadine

Slowly pour 0.5 oz grenadine over the back of a spoon or down the inside edge of the glass so it sinks and creates a layered sunrise effect at the bottom.

6

Final stir (optional)

If you want a uniform color, briefly stir once with a bar spoon (1–2 turns). For a layered look, do not stir.

Garnish & Serve

7

Garnish the glass with a pineapple wedge on the rim, a lime wheel, and a maraschino cherry on a cocktail pick.

8

Serve immediately with a straw. Recommend serving chilled and consuming within 15 minutes for best flavor.
