Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Cook the linguine

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Making Pesto

  1. 2

    Prepare the pesto

In a food processor, combine basil leaves, pine nuts, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Making Herbed Breadcrumbs

  1. 3

    Prepare the herbed breadcrumbs

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, garlic powder, and salt. Toast until golden brown, stirring frequently, then set aside.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 4

    Combine linguine with pesto

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked linguine with the prepared pesto, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Toss until the pasta is well coated.

  2. 5

    Plate and serve

Serve the linguine on plates, topping each serving with a ball of burrata cheese and a generous sprinkle of herbed breadcrumbs. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
