1. Prepare the Saffron

In a small bowl, soak the saffron threads in 2 tablespoons of warm water. Set aside for 10 minutes to release the color and flavor.

2. Sauté the Vegetables

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent.
