Burger Preparation
- 1
Cook the Burger Patty
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness.
- 2
Add Cheese
During the last minute of cooking the burger, place a slice of cheese on top of the patty and cover the skillet to allow the cheese to melt.
- 3
Cook the Bacon
In a separate pan, cook the smoked bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Waffle Bun Preparation
- 4
Prepare Waffle Batter
In a large bowl, mix the waffle mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined.
- 5
Cook Waffles
Preheat a waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions. Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron, close the lid, and cook until golden brown (about 5 minutes).
- 6
Remove Waffles
Carefully remove the waffles from the iron and set aside.
Garlic Aioli Preparation
- 7
Make Garlic Aioli
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and set aside.
Fries Preparation
- 8
Cook the Fries
Prepare the frozen French fries according to the package instructions, typically by baking or frying until crispy.
- 9
Season the Fries
Once cooked, sprinkle seasoned salt over fries to taste.
Assembly
- 10
Assemble the Waffle Burger
On the bottom half of a waffle, place the cooked burger patty with melted cheese and crispy bacon. Top with a generous dollop of garlic aioli and finish with the other half of the waffle.
