Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Pat the NY strip steak dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Heat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F to 500°F).

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Brush the steak with olive oil on both sides. Place the steak on the hot grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.

Preparing the Broccoli

  1. 5

    Prepare the Broccoli

Wash the broccoli florets and set aside.

  2. 6

    Sauté the Garlic

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 7

    Cook the Broccoli

Add the broccoli florets to the skillet. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender but still bright green.

Preparing the Roasted Red Potatoes

  1. 8

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 9

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash the red potatoes and cut them into quarters.

  3. 10

    Season the Potatoes

In a large bowl, toss the potato quarters with olive oil, rosemary, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  4. 11

    Roast the Potatoes

Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, turning halfway through.
