Steak

Method

Steak

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the NY Strip steak with salt and black pepper on both sides. Drizzle with olive oil.

  2. 2

    Sear the Steak

Heat a skillet over high heat. Once hot, add the steak and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.

  3. 3

    Rest the Steak

Remove steak from pan and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Old Bay Honey Shrimp

  1. 4

    Cook the Shrimp

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 5

    Add Seasoning

Add the shrimp to the skillet, sprinkle with Old Bay seasoning, and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they turn pink.

  3. 6

    Add Honey and Lemon Juice

Drizzle honey and lemon juice over the shrimp, tossing to coat evenly. Cook for another minute and then remove from heat.

Smothered Potatoes

  1. 7

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cube the potatoes. Place them in a pot of salted water and bring to a boil.

  2. 8

    Cook the Potatoes

Boil the potatoes for about 15-20 minutes until tender. Drain and return to the pot.

  3. 9

    Smother the Potatoes

Add butter, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper to the potatoes. Mash until smooth and creamy. Stir in chopped chives.
