Chicken Tenders

Serving Suggestions

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Start by rinsing the chicken tenders under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour mixed with 1 tsp of Old Bay seasoning in the first bowl, whisk the eggs in the second bowl, and combine the breadcrumbs with 1 tsp of Old Bay seasoning in the third bowl.

Breading the Chicken

  1. 3

    Coat the Chicken

Take each chicken tender, first dredge it in the flour, shaking off the excess, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it in the seasoned breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

  2. 4

    Repeat Process

Repeat the coating process for all chicken tenders and place them on a plate.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.

  2. 6

    Fry the Chicken Tenders

Carefully add the breaded chicken tenders to the skillet, frying them in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. 7

    Drain Excess Oil

Once cooked, transfer the tenders to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate and Serve

Arrange the chicken tenders on a serving platter, garnish with lemon wedges, and serve with your choice of dipping sauces on the side.
