Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Add the Milk
Slowly pour in the milk while whisking continuously to avoid lumps. Continue to cook for about 5-7 minutes until the mixture thickens.

Incorporate the Cheese
Reduce the heat to low and stir in the cheddar and Gruyère cheeses until fully melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Combine and Bake

Mix Pasta and Cheese Sauce
Add the cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce and stir until the pasta is evenly coated.

Prepare the Topping
In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, and melted butter. Mix until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.

Bake
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac and cheese mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
