Method

Preparing the Burgers

  1. 1

    Mix and Form Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty approximately 1 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip. Place a slice of American cheese on each patty and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.

Assembling the Sliders

  1. 3

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the slider buns on the grill or in a toaster until just golden.

  2. 4

    Build the Sliders

Place each cooked cheeseburger patty on the bottom half of a slider bun. Top with the other half of the bun to complete the slider.

Preparing the Sides

  1. 5

    Cook the French Fries

If using frozen fries, bake or fry according to package instructions. If making homemade fries, slice potatoes into thin strips, toss with oil, and bake or fry until golden and crispy.

  2. 6

    Prepare Carrot Sticks

Wash and peel the carrots, then cut them into sticks for a fresh side.
