Method
Preparation of Fries
- 1
Bake the Fries
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Spread the frozen French fries on a baking sheet in an even layer. Drizzle with olive oil and season with Old Bay seasoning and salt. Toss to coat the fries evenly.
- 2
Cook the Fries
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
Preparation of Crab Dip
- 3
Mix the Dip Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the lump crab meat, cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix gently until well combined, taking care not to break up the crab meat too much.
- 4
Add Green Onions
Chop the green onions and fold them into the crab mixture. Reserve some for garnishing later.
Assembly and Serving
- 5
Assemble the Dish
Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven. Transfer the fries to a serving platter and generously spoon the crab dip over the top.
- 6
Add Toppings
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the crab dip and then dust with Old Bay seasoning. Finally, scatter the reserved chopped green onions on top.
- 7
Serve
Serve immediately while the fries are hot and the cheese is melty. Enjoy your Crabby Fries!
