Step 1: Chill the Glass
Place a martini glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while preparing the cocktail.

In a cocktail shaker, add 1.5 oz of vodka, 1 oz of triple sec, 1 oz of cranberry juice, and 0.5 oz of fresh lime juice.

Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

Remove the martini glass from the freezer or discard the ice water. Strain the cocktail mixture into the chilled glass.
