Method

Chicken Tenders Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into strips, about 1 inch wide.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place the flour in the first bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together in the second bowl, and combine the bread crumbs with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in the third bowl.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Take each chicken strip, first coat it in flour, then dip it into the egg mixture, and finally coat it in the seasoned bread crumbs. Repeat until all strips are coated.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  5. 5

    Fry the Chicken

Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Fries Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick).

  2. 7

    Soak the Fries

Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  3. 8

    Heat the Oil for Fries

In a separate frying pan or deep fryer, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  4. 9

    Fry the Potatoes

Drain the soaked potatoes and pat them dry. Carefully add them to the hot oil in batches, frying for 3-4 minutes or until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, then sprinkle with salt.
