Breakfast Sandwich Base

Method

Breakfast Sandwich Preparation

  1. 1

    Toast the Muffins

Split the English muffins in half and toast them until golden brown. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon or Sausage

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon or sausage patties until crispy and cooked through. Remove and keep warm.

  3. 3

    Fry the Eggs

In the same skillet, add butter. Crack the eggs into the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook to your desired doneness (sunny-side up, over easy, etc.).

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

On one half of each toasted muffin, layer the cooked bacon or sausage, cheese, and fried egg. Top with the other half of the muffin.

Homefries Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and dice the potatoes into small cubes. Leave the skin on for extra texture.

  2. 6

    Cook the Potatoes

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced potatoes and season with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.

  3. 7

    Fry Until Crispy

Cook the potatoes for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  4. 8

    Serve

Serve the homefries hot alongside the breakfast sandwich.
