Burger Preparation

Prepare the Beef Patties
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until combined.

Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions (8 oz each) and shape them into patties. Make a slight indent in the center of each patty to prevent puffing up during cooking.

Add Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place cheese on each patty and cover to melt.

Toast the Buns
While the burgers are cooking, slice the brioche buns in half and toast them on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

Cook the Fries
Toss the frozen fries in the oil mixture, then spread them on a baking sheet. Bake according to package instructions until crispy.
