Buffalo Wings

Method

Buffalo Wings

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken Wings

Start by rinsing the chicken wings under cold water and patting them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Coat the Chicken Wings

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them until they are evenly coated with the flour mixture.

  3. 3

    Fry the Wings

Heat oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 375°F (190°C). Carefully add the coated chicken wings in batches and fry for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove the wings and drain them on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Buffalo Sauce

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, whisk in the hot sauce until well combined and heated through.

  5. 5

    Toss the Wings in Sauce

In a large mixing bowl, combine the fried wings with the buffalo sauce. Toss them well until all wings are coated in the sauce.

Blue Cheese Dressing

  1. 6

    Mix the Dressing Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, crumbled blue cheese, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 7

    Blend Until Smooth

Using a whisk or a hand mixer, blend the ingredients until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  3. 8

    Chill the Dressing

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the blue cheese dressing for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
