Cobbler Dough Preparation

    Preheat the Oven

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Combine Dry Ingredients

    In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tsp of baking powder, and 0.5 tsp of salt until well combined.

    Mix in Butter and Sugar

    Cut 0.5 cups of unsalted butter into the dry mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in 0.5 cups of brown sugar until evenly distributed.

    Add Milk

    Pour in 0.75 cups of milk and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Baking the Cobbler

    Transfer to Baking Dish

    Spread the cobbler dough into a greased 9x9 inch baking dish evenly.

    Bake the Cobbler

    Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

Cinnamon RoosTart Icing Preparation

    Cream Butter and Sugar

    In a medium bowl, beat 0.25 cups of softened unsalted butter with 1.5 cups of powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.

    Mix in 1 tsp of ground cinnamon, 0.5 tsp of vanilla extract, and 2 tbs of milk until the icing is smooth and spreadable.

Assembling the Brown Sugar RoosTart

    Ice the Cobbler

    Once the cobbler has cooled slightly, drizzle or spread the cinnamon RoosTart icing over the top.
