Method
Preparing the Eggs
- 1
Scrambling the Eggs
In a bowl, crack the 2 large eggs and whisk them thoroughly. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- 2
Cooking the Eggs
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and allow it to melt. Pour in the whisked eggs and cook, stirring gently, until the eggs are set but still soft, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Cooking the Breakfast Meat
- 3
Cooking Bacon
In the same skillet, cook the 4 slices of bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 4
Cooking Sausage Links
In the same skillet, add the 2 sausage links and cook for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.
- 5
Cooking Ham
Add the 2 slices of ham to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until heated through.
Preparing Breakfast Carbs
- 6
French Toast
In a separate skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Dip the 2 slices of bread in a beaten egg mixture (optional) and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- 7
Pancakes
Prepare pancake batter as per package instructions. Pour batter onto a hot griddle, cooking until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- 8
Waffle
Preheat the waffle iron. Pour the waffle batter into the preheated iron and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually about 5 minutes until crispy.
Serving
- 9
Plating the Dish
On a plate, arrange the scrambled eggs, choice of cooked breakfast meat, and the selected breakfast carb (French toast, pancakes, or waffle). Drizzle maple syrup over the carb if desired, and serve immediately.
