Taco Components

Method

Prepare the Meats

  1. 1

    Prepare Smoked Pulled Pork

If using smoked pulled pork, ensure it is reheated. Place the pulled pork in a saucepan over low heat until warmed throughout, stirring occasionally.

  2. 2

    Prepare Chopped Prime Brisket

If using chopped prime brisket, place it in a separate saucepan over low heat until warmed through, stirring to avoid sticking.

Assemble the Tacos

  1. 3

    Warm the Tortillas

In a skillet over medium heat, warm each flour tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side, or until they are pliable and slightly toasted.

  2. 4

    Fill the Tacos

For each taco, place a generous portion of either smoked pulled pork or chopped prime brisket in the center of the tortilla. Aim for about 1/4 cup of meat per taco.

  3. 5

    Add Toppings

Top the meat with shredded cheddar cheese, a spoonful of salsa, a dollop of sour cream, and a sprinkle of chopped red onions to taste.
