Method

Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Form the Patties

In a bowl, divide the ground beef into two equal portions (6 oz each) and form into patties. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

Burger Assembly

  1. 3

    Prepare the Burger Sauce

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, pickle relish, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the brioche buns on the grill or in a toaster. Spread the burger sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Layer with lettuce, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheddar cheese, tomato slices, and onion slices. Top with the other half of the bun and serve.

Optional Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Cook the Fries

Prepare the frozen French fries according to package instructions, typically by baking or frying until golden and crispy.
