Method

Preparing the Ribs

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) to prepare for slow-cooking the ribs.

2

Prepare the Rib Rack

Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs and place them on a large baking sheet.

3

Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this seasoning mixture all over the ribs for maximum flavor.

4

Bake the Ribs

Cover the ribs with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

5

Apply BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully take off the foil. Brush the BBQ sauce generously over the ribs.

6

Finish Cooking

Return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

Preparing the Sides

7

Prepare Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine coleslaw mix with your choice of dressing. Toss until mixed and set aside for flavors to meld.

8

Bake Cornbread

Prepare cornbread according to package instructions or your favorite recipe. Bake and let cool.

9

Heat Baked Beans

Open the can of baked beans and heat them in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally until warmed through.
