Tea Base

Sweetener (optional)

Flavor Enhancers (optional)

Method

Brewing the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil the Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

  2. 2

    Steep the Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the 4 black tea bags. Cover and let steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

  3. 3

    Remove Tea Bags

After steeping, remove the tea bags carefully and discard them.

Sweetening the Tea

  1. 4

    Add Sweetener (if using)

If you prefer sweetened iced tea, stir in 1 cup of sugar or 0.5 cup of honey while the tea is still warm. Mix until fully dissolved.

Cooling and Serving

  1. 5

    Cool the Tea

Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours or until completely chilled.

  2. 6

    Add Flavor Enhancers (if using)

Before serving, stir in 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and add fresh mint leaves for extra flavor.

  3. 7

    Serve

Serve iced tea in tall glasses filled with ice cubes. Garnish with additional mint leaves or lemon slices if desired.
