Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brisket

If you haven't already, smoke the brisket according to your preferred method until tender. Once cooked, shred or chop the brisket into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Chips

In a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter, spread the tortilla chips in an even layer.

Topping

  1. 3

    Add Brisket

Evenly distribute the smoked brisket over the tortilla chips.

  2. 4

    Add Cheese

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the brisket and chips.

  3. 5

    Add Jalapeños

Evenly distribute the jalapeños over the cheese layer.

Baking

  1. 6

    Bake the Nachos

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serving

  1. 7

    Drizzle with BBQ Sauce

Remove the nachos from the oven and drizzle the BBQ sauce over the top.

  2. 8

    Serve Warm

Serve the brisket nachos immediately while they're hot and cheesy.
