Method

Preparing the Ribs

  1. 1

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together 2 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of black pepper. Rub this seasoning mixture all over the pork ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

  2. 2

    Place Ribs in Slow Cooker

Place the seasoned ribs in the slow cooker, arranging them so they fit well without being overcrowded.

Making the BBQ Sauce

  1. 3

    Mix Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 1 cup of apple cider vinegar, 1 cup of brown sugar, 2 tbs of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbs of smoked paprika, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp of onion powder, 1 tsp of cayenne pepper, 1 tsp of salt, and 1 tsp of black pepper. Stir well until all ingredients are fully blended.

  2. 4

    Add Sauce to Ribs

Pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the ribs in the slow cooker, ensuring that the ribs are well covered with the sauce.

Cooking the Ribs

  1. 5

    Slow Cook

Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat. Cook the ribs for 6 to 8 hours, or until the meat is tender and falls off the bone.

Serving the Ribs

  1. 6

    Serve

Once cooked, remove the ribs from the slow cooker and let them rest for a few minutes. Slice the ribs and serve them with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
